NW Juniors VBC has been involved in junior beach volleyball for over 20 years.  We have our own facility with 6 outdoor sand courts located just 5 minutes north of Woodinville.  Our club offers opportunities for a hundred plus players of all ages and skill levels.  Beach volleyball is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and with added college scholarship opportunities, our beach club is worth a look.

For the more experienced beach players on a college track, we offer an Elite Travel Team.  Information for our travel teams is posted here on our Beach Club Travel Team page. 

Our training Facility: Formerly listed as Bottega Beach on Google Maps, is now listed as "NW Beach Volleyball Club". We offer an outdoor 6-court facility with indoor amenities. The focus of our program is on raising the level of play for all athletes in the region, regardless of skill level or age.

NW Juniors Elite Travel Team.

Step one in the process is to tryout for NW Juniors Elite Travel Team. Players will be selected to our travel team via the tryout process. We expect to take 16-24 total athletes in each category: U12/U14 and U16/U18. We will use the skill level of those at tryouts to determine the total number of athletes we select. 

We encourage all those interested in our Elite Travel Team to  tryout to see where they rank among those interested. However, we ask that athletes and their families look at the practice, tournament, and travel schedules in determining whether or not they wish to take a spot on the Elite Travel Team.  (Scroll down for further details and to register.)  

TRYOUT DATES: All Age groups U12-U18.
*If a player is accepted on our Travel Team, then the Travel Team registration link will be e-mailed to you once you accept the offer.  *Offers for our Travel Team will be made 2-5 days after the 2nd Tryout date.
*If a player is not selected, then they are encouraged to register for our regular non-travel beach club.

Players only need to attend ONE of these tryout times.

Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to the start time:

• Wednesday, April 3, 2024; 5:30-7:30PM
• Tuesday, April 9, 2024; 5:30-7:30PM
• MAKE-UP TRYOUT: Monday, April 15; 5:30-7:30pm

1. AAU membership ($20) non-refundable**. This is the insurance that allows players to step foot onto the court.  PROOF of AAU Membership must be uploaded when registering for any of our BEACH and/or SUMMER PROGRAMS.    This is the primary membership which covers our athletes for Spring training, Beach Club Practices, and also AAU Beach Tournaments.

**AAU Membership is non-refundable

• If you participated in NW Juniors FALL ACADEMY last year in 2023 then you already have AAU Membership from participating in it.  

• If you are a NW Juniors Indoor Club Member then most teams played in an AAU tournament during the club season so those players already have AAU Membership.  The EXCEPTION: 14UA Navy, 15UA Navy, 16UA Navy, Boys Teams.  If you played on one of these teams, then you will need to get AAU Membership.

2024 Beach Club Season Dates: May 7th-Aug 15th

• ONE-day a-la-carte Practice begins the week of May 7th.  Player selects training day and time. (A second May practice day may be added at an additional charge.)
• START Date for 3-day Practice: Tue, May 28, 2024; 6:30-8:30pm
• LAST Practice: Thu, August 15, 2024

NO PRACTICE:

• 4th of July (Thursday)
• August 7th & 8th (Seaside, Oregon Tournament)

NW Juniors does NOT make travel arrangements for athletes and their families.  We encourage families to work together and secure their own travel arrangements. 

Two travel** tournaments:

#1 Sandstorm Beach Volleyball (AVP) - Tri-Cities: June 29-30

#2  K-Beach (p1440)- Chelan: July 20-21 

**For 2024 Beach Club Travel Teams, the cost for coaches (travel, hotel, salary, etc.) is included in your beach club dues.   

NW Juniors Beach Club - ELITE Travel Team 

Beach Club Elite Travel Team-- Girls Only.  

START DATE is week of May 6th (one-day week practice - player chooses day).
FULL 3-day practice schedule BEGINS May 28;  ENDS August 15, 2024  

• $2641* per person for NW Juniors Indoor Club Members
• $2860* per person for NON-NW Juniors Indoor Club Members

Payment Options: 

• Option 1: Payment in Full due April 10th or at time of offer.
• Option 2: Payment Plan: 2-Installments (*Requires automatic payment plan)
  --Non-club members: $1430 each installment
  --NWJR Indoor Club Members: $1320.50 each installment
  • 1st payment due by April 10th
  • 2nd payment due May 5th.

*Included:

• Uniform package  (see below)
• p1440 Crown** - June 8th & 9th **Local Tournament at NW Beach (Bottega)
• Travel (2 tournaments $580): Tri-Cities & Chelan

• Local Tournaments (see one exception above)

• Travel cost for players is NOT included. 

Cancellation/Refund policy: no refund/no cancellation. Beach Club has limited membership; by completing the registration, a spot is being denied to another individual. Exception may be made for medical reasons only, a doctor's note is required and must be e-mailed to billing@nwvolleyball.com.  Request will be submitted to the Board of Directors for consideration. 

Two practice tees are included in the cost of registration for Beach Club.  In addition, those that are selected for our Elite Travel Team will be issued the following team gear (included in the travel teams club costs):
