NW Juniors Tournament Waiver - Required for ALL Beach Tournaments


BEFORE you buy your membership.....

Be sure to check the program page for which membership is required for your event and/or program.

**Beach Tournaments are primarily AVP; but they can be USAV or AAU.

**Beach Club, Spring Training, Beach Academy, and Beach Camps are AVP.

**Indoor Summer Camps are AVP.



AVP America Membership: The club uses the AVP Membership primarily for our Spring, Summer, and some Fall activities. The membership is a 12-month membership that covers the athlete for clinics, camps, and tournaments for a calendar year from the time they register. There are other benefits to membership, including discounts on AVP Sponsor merchandise and events. The AVP Membership is required in order to participate in any of our beach programs. 

Parents: Please note that you must secure a FREE BASIC membership first, in order for you to enroll and manage your child's AVP Membership. For Athlete memberships, there are three tiers: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The Bronze tier is the least expensive ($15) but only covers the athlete for camps and clinics; the Silver tier ($25) is recommended and is needed in order to participate in AVP America Beach tournaments; the Gold tier ($40) comes with additional benefits as described on the AVP Membership page.

AVP Membership

This is the insurance that allows players to step foot onto the court.  It is required for all AVP programs and events (NWJRs AVP Programs: Beach Academy, Beach Clinics, Spring Training, Beach Club, and all AVP Tournaments).  

Bronze membership is accepted for Beach Academy - Beginners. 
Otherwise, Membership type must be SILVER ($25) or greater to participate in tournaments.  Register for membership: https://avp.com/membership-sign-up/

ALREADY have AVP membership?  It’s important to note that linked parent accounts are the only ones able to renew and/or upgrade memberships for U18 members.  This can be handled by a parent logging into their own AVP account, clicking into their linked child’s account, and renewing/upgrading via the Account Settings page.

Proof of AVP Membership should be e-mailed to BILLING@NWVOLLEYBALL.COM
**Membership must show player's name, type of membership, with expiration date.  It will be kept on file for the season.

 

If your program registration requires AVP Membership=> follow these steps.

AVP is the insurance that allows players to step foot onto the court. 

It is important to read steps to register in it's entirety to get your player's AVP Membership.  

Proof of AVP Membership MUST be in your players name and e-mailed to billing@nwvolleyball.com  within 24 hours of your program registration.

**Membership must show player's name, type of membership, with expiration date.  A screen shot is fine.  It will be kept on file for the summer.

Parents need to create a Basic (free) account for themselves before they can create their under 18 child's accounts.  Once you have created your account, you can create and link your child's membership to your account and pay.   
Please follow the steps below:

  1. Parents - Create a Basic (free) membership first for yourself https://avp.com/membership-sign-up/   You will need to use a different email address than the one you use to create your child's account.
  2. On your profile page, click the dropdown menu with your name on it and select "Create linked account"
  3. Bronze membership ($15) is accepted for summer camps – However, if your player will be participating in beach tournaments then select Silver $25 or greater.
  4. Enter your child's information. You will need to use a different email address than the one you used to create your account.
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the membership and make payment for your player. (AVP Membership is valid for one year from the date of purchase)

AVP America Membership

REQUIRED for ALL Beach Club, Beach Camp, and Beach Training programs. Also required for Beach Tournaments that are LISTED as AVP.

Steps to RENEW or CREATE a NEW AVP Membership

Parents need to create a Basic (free) account for themselves before they can renew their under 18 child's accounts. When they login to a U18 account that has not been linked, there is a message at the top that says IMPORTANT - AVP requires a parent/guardian linked account to oversee and manage your U18 membership. Invite a parent or guardian to claim your membership immediately.

To renew or create a U18 account, you need to first create an account as the parent.
Once you have created your account, you can link your child's existing membership to your account and renew.
Please follow the steps below:

  1. Parents - Create a Basic (free) membership first for yourself here. You will need to use a different email address than the one you used to create your child's account.
  2. Once you have created your account, on your profile page, click the dropdown menu with your name on it and select "Link existing account" or if child does not have an account "Create linked account".
  3. Enter your child's information as it is listed on their account. If you are creating a new account, then the e-mail for your child must be different than the one you used to create your account.
  4. Follow the prompts to complete the membership.
